Coriandrum sativum

It was said coriander was grown in the famous Hanging Gardens of Babylon and in Medieval Europe it was considered a witch’s herb. The Egyptians called it the Spice of Happiness and it has been long used in Asian and cooking, French liqueurs, perfumes, love potions and even magic.

Aroma: Top note.

Perfume: Lightly pungent, sweet and spicy with a slightly woody undertone.

Blends well with: rose, jasmine, sandalwood, geranium, neroli, bergamot, orange, lemon.

Indications: Analgesic, aperitif, aphrodisiac, antispasmodic, carminative, digestive, deodorant, depurative (blood cleanser) stimulant, stomachic.
