Animals, humans and the land have all taken advantage of the kunzea bush. Early settlers witnessed native animals sleeping under wild kunzea bushes for protection from ticks and other parasites, while its ability to grow on degraded and overgrazed lands make it a modern coastal gardening favourite. The essential oil of this Australian native is still in the discovery but is aligned to eucalyptus and other conifer oils that benefit the breath. Restorative, calming and relaxing for the mind.
